If you purchase land within the town plan you are generally granted permission to build up to 400sqm. If your land is outside the town plan, you will need over 4000 square meters to be able to build a house of approximately 200 square meters. There are also rules pertaining to road and rights of way that need to be discussed. Once again the lawyer and notary will handle all investigations.
For new building, you will need to apply for a building license you must find an architect to do this for you. Again, K P P can recommend some top class architects, but this is a very personal thing, finding someone who fits in with your ideas, so it is always good to visit a few.
